Candace is getting ready to participate in the Voter Protection program for the next round of elections, including the presidential election. This is a program she regularly supports. She regrets that the Farmers’ Market, in her local community and at which she is a volunteer, ends in October.

Candace and her husband are pleased that their youngest daughter is graduating from college this year. Their oldest daughter is working hard and enjoying life in New York City.

Annie and her husband, Cary Taylor, welcomed the arrival of their first child in April 2011. And in September 2011, Cary opened the Southern Mac and Cheese Store in the Loop as an offshoot of the Southern restaurant and the Southern Mac and Cheese food truck. Now, with the rare free time they have, they love to spend every minute they can with their daughter.
